Curtains can truly be called very important decorative utility products, they are used for many purpose like decoration, block light, provide privacy to the home and change the look of the room it also gives a mood to the room. The curtains provide traditional and artistic look to the drawing room. The designs of curtains depend on windows, doors, colors of the walls and decoration of the room.

There are lots of fabrics widely used for curtains, Cotton and silk are the best fabrics for curtains and are liked by everyone. Use lining curtains are durable and protect us from outside weather. Polyester and other synthetics have gained ground in past few years.

Curtains are manufactured in different forms like painted curtains which give an artistic feel, block prints a traditional touch like embroidery, appliqué and even painting to accentuate the soft charm, traditional art forms like zardauzi are also used to give a touch of richness to the decor.

Other adornments like laces, tassels and frills are used for specific décor, the center of attraction enhances just by proper selection of the color, and style of the curtain just according to the room.

Interior paint can be used to hide a certain flaw or dramatically change a drawing room and it will look exciting and beautiful

When choosing interior paint colors, it is important to know what you want your room to look like, the decorating style. If you like light color you use light colors like versatile white which is likely to please you, if you like brighter shades choose paint colors ranging from deep reds, ivory, natural browns, warm gold’s, and jade green. Accent your room with darker colors like black.

You can go for an option of two color schemes taking first color at the center and the second color to give sparkling effect on the first. If the location of your room is sun facing, use cool colors like ocean blue or sea green it will look very nice with sun light. . If the location of your room is non-sun facing and you want to get warmth in winters, go for bright shades like yellow and orange to diminish the dullness.

No matter what kind of decorating style you want in a specific room, make sure that the paint matches the theme you are going for. More contemporary colors seem to be the neutral shades such as beiges, ivories, and colors that are subtle

Today I m starting the decoration with a drawing room. Before decorating anything you should first check that how much space you are having because the decoration changes with space. I m giving my views about decorating a small spaced drawing room .A drawing room is a place where gathering happened all the time, the main furniture of this room is a sofa, a drawing room is incomplete if its not having a sofa, it is available in many shape, size , height , natural wood finish, fabric covered etc. The choice is all up to you that what you like most for your room.

Before buying sofas first set a floor plan and measure a room, then you can buy a good sofa for your drawing room. If the sofa is alone its incomplete without a center table which is also called as a coffee table or a magazine table. It also comes in different sizes, heights, metal, glass, painted, or natural wood finishes. A traditional coffee table can have a glass top, can be solid wood, or can be made out of metal or finished with a high gloss to shine as the center of attention in the room. It should be chosen in a proper proportion for the size of the room and the sofa in front of which it stands.
