As it been considered that marble flooring was considered to be a style that was meant basically for the rich class. It was due to the fact that, initially marble was mined mainly in Italy and so it was expensive. Now we can get a fairly good quality material from quarries in China, Spain and Mexico. Marble flooring adds class to the bedroom and gives it a feel of luxury.

There are two kinds of marbles that are used for bed flooring, namely, white and black slabs and tiles. For the dramatic look, you can combine both types. The best thing about the marble floors is that, they lend a very soothing cooling touch to your bedroom.


It is owing to its low heat conduction properties that it doesn't get warm up easily. This explains the reason why marble floors are preferred in the tropical regions. However, if you want your marble floors to last for a longer time, then little extra maintenance is required.
